Things are not as decentralized yet as people would hope them to be. It’s come out that Uniswap is now blocking 253 addresses because the creators of Uniswap are US citizens and prefer to block sanctioned addresses rather than risk going to jail. I’m sure most people would choose the same. This just shows that projects need to be fully decentralized and not just using the blockchain.
The only way we can have a truly decentralized world is to have censor resistant blockchains where validators cannot choose which blocks they want to validate. Use a blockchain domain name, decentralized web services like Flux. And stay anonymous so that authorities have nobody to go after.
